International customers can drop off their returns at an approved courier in their country; you can find out which ones you can use at the ASOS website.

Otherwise, you can use your country’s postal service to send your return to the ASOS warehouse in the United Kingdom.

You still have 28 days after you receive your purchase to return your items, and processing can take up to 21 business days.

In some instances, you can still return your items if it’s been more than 28 days but less than 45 days since delivery. In that case, ASOS will send you a voucher once your return gets processed.

What Items Can’t ASOS Refund?

Whether you’re a local or international customer, ASOS can’t issue a refund for the following items:

  • Opened face or body products, such as bath bombs, lotion, and shower gels
  • Underwear and swimwear with a broken label or the hygiene seal
  • Pierced jewelry with a broken seal
  • Face covering with a broken seal
  • Items from the “Final Sale” selection

If you attempt to return these items, ASOS will send them back at your cost.

Can You Exchange Items With ASOS?

ASOS does not offer exchanges if you need a different color or size for your clothing. Instead, they encourage you to initiate a return for your items and then purchase them in the size or color that you need.

The only downside is that the items might be out of stock by the time your return gets processed. You might have to purchase your items before receiving your refund to ensure they still have your product in stock.

How Do You Return Faulty or Incorrect Items to ASOS?

Sending faulty or incorrect items back to ASOS follows the same procedure as a regular return. The only difference is the return reason you select when requesting it from your online account.

For faulty, defective, or damaged items, ASOS will send you a refund once they process your return. They won’t be sending you a replacement item, however. You’ll have to place another order for the same thing if you want another one.

As for unwanted items sent to you by mistake, send them back to ASOS the same way you would return them.

They’ll refund you for the missing item once they’ve examined your package. You’ll have to place another order for the missing item if you still want it, as long as it’s in stock.
