Do you know what ASOS’s shoes return policy is? Well, you are at the perfect place to find the answer to such a question.
ASOS allows you to return shoes if they are in their original condition, which includes the original shoe box, and it’s within the 28- day return period. However, they will not allow you to exchange your shoes for a different size or color, and you will need to return the shoe you already have and purchase a new pair that fits your requirements.
Let’s discover all you need to know about ASOS return policy, from what requirements you need to meet to be able to return them, such as condition and packaging, what happens if you don’t follow the return policy correctly, and whether you can do the return process online.
Returning Unwanted Items like Shoes
ASOS understands that there are situations when a product isn’t right for a customer and needs a refund.
You can return items for no cost as long as they are in their original packaging and follow the guidelines below, especially those on fair use—none of these compromise your legal rights.
Within 28 days after delivery or pickup, you may return an item for a refund, and we’ll provide a full refund. You will use your original mode of payment to provide your refund. After ASOS gets the returned goods, they will try to repay you within 14 days.
Please get in touch with ASOS if you need reimbursement for a product within the time above constraints but cannot send it back to us for whatever reason; nevertheless, we reserve the right to refuse any refund requests.

What If It’s Past the Return Period?
After the applicable return term mentioned above, ASOS doesn’t accept returns for unwanted products.
If you attempt to return something, we might have to deliver it to your usual place of delivery and require you to pay the shipping fees.
What Counts as “Original Condition”?
Naturally, it’s OK to test a product as you’d do in a store, but kindly limit your wear to that amount of time.
ASOS won’t be able to provide customers a refund if a product is returned to ASOS damaged, worn, or in an inappropriate state; instead, we might have to return it to customers.
Each item is examined when it is returned. All things should be returned to ASOS unused, unworn, and in the exact condition as when you first got them to be eligible for a full refund.
All labels and tags from the original packing are still present, such as the shoe’s original box.
What If Something Happens to the Package?
Until they arrive at our office, returned things are your responsibility, so ensure they are packaged securely to prevent damage.
Get evidence of postage if you have to reach ASOS about your return because the package is still your responsibility until everything gets back to them.
Any things that are accidentally returned to us (it happens!) are not the responsibility of ASOS. If they can find them (which isn’t usually feasible) and you want these sent back to you, they can ask you to pay for postage.

What Happens If You Abuse the Return Policy?
ASOS may need to terminate the account and related accounts if we observe an odd pattern of returning activity that doesn’t make sense.
This comprises, but is not restricted to:
- When they believe someone is wearing their merchandise for longer than intended and then returning it.
- When a person makes a lot of orders, and returns—far more than the most devoted ASOS client will do.
- When the returned products differ from what you bought, please get in touch with Customer Care if this occurs and you believe someone made a mistake; they would be pleased to talk with you about it.
Contact Customer Care if you need to make a legitimate return after someone already deleted your account.
You will receive a returns label, but the cost of shipping the items back to ASOS is your responsibility.
Please be aware that if the things customers return don’t match what they purchased, ASOS reserves the right to sue.
Can You Exchange Items?
ASOS no longer offers free exchanges for any items, including shoes. You will need to return the items you don’t want and then make a new order with whatever changes you desire.
Can You Do Returns Online?
ASOS now offers online returns! Your order will no longer include physical returns slip or returns label; instead, you may create a return via your ASOS account without using paper or a printer.
Can You Return Faulty Shoes?
ASOS allows you to return faulty items as long as you do so within the 28-day return period. It’s best if you return the item as soon as possible so that they can fix the problem and get your order fulfilled with a quality product.
Don’t forget to click “faulty” when prompted to give a reason for the return, so you aren’t charged with damaging the item.
If you wear your shoes, but they are faulty, this will impact whether or not you can return them. ASOS inspects all returned items, and if they find that a customer damaged the shoes by wearing them, they are unlikely to give a refund.
Note that ASOS will not send replacement shoes if you return faulty ones. You will need to reorder them.
Can You Return Shoes if You Get the Wrong Ones?
If you receive the wrong items in your order, you will want to return them as soon as possible to get a refund.
To return an incorrect order:
- Log in to your account and click on “My Orders.”
- Select the “Create Return” option next to the incorrect order.
- Follow the prompts through the return process, and don’t forget to select “Incorrect item received” as the reason you want to return the items.
Conclusion
Shoes purchased from ASOS may be returned as long as they are unworn, unwashed, and in their original packaging within the 28-day return window.
You cannot, however, replace your shoes with ones in an alternative size or color.
You must return your current pair of shoes and get a different pair that meets your needs.
