Adidas Return Policy Without Receipt (What´s Covered + More)

Adidas Return Policy Without Receipt

You have purchased some products or equipment from Adidas, but you are not quite happy with it. And you have lost or misplaced the receipt. But don’t worry, we have you covered.

So, what is the Adidas return policy without the receipt? It depends on how you have made a purchase and how you are making the return. If a purchase was made online, and you are returning it by mail, you do not need a receipt, but for returns in person, you will be refunded only in in-store credit.

But there are more things to know about making returns.

Adidas return policy without receipt

You can buy Adidas gear both online and in stores, and when making returns it is important that you have some proof of purchase so you could be refunded.

If you have made a purchase in-store, and have not saved the receipt, you could be eligible for a refund with in-store credit. And you will be refunded the current price of the gear you are returning.

But, if you are an adiclub member, you do not need a receipt to return the bought items. Both online and in-store purchases are saved in your purchase history. So, when making a return, all you have to do is to print the return label, for mailing your stuff, or save the QR code for in-store returns.

If you have made an online purchase on Adidas.com as a guest user, without registering to adiclub, you will have in your email the invoice and the order number, which you will need to get the proof of purchase on the website.

In these two situations, with the proof of purchase, you will be refunded the full price you have paid.

What items you can return?

You are not able to return all items. Swimwear, face coverings, and custom personalized items are not returnable unless they have some manufacturing defect.

Also, the gear you have purchased at some third-party retailer is not accepted for returns by Adidas. You must make returns to the original seller.

When it comes to shoes, there is a specific situation. Generally, they are not accepted for return, except in specific cases. The first case is when they were not worn and the packaging is not opened.

Second is if they are the wrong size when you might be eligible for a free size exchange. And third is if they have some manufacturing defect.

All other items you can return as long as it is within the time limit the returns are accepted by Adidas.

How you can make returns?

There are two ways to make returns, either by mail or in person. Whether you are making a return in any of these two ways, you must:

  • place the items in their original packaging,
  • if those are clothing items tags must not be removed,
  • all accessory items must be included.

Returning Adidas products in person

When it comes to returning Adidas products in person, you can make at any Adidas shop only gear bought from Adidas.com or one of those shops.

If you have bought them from a third-party retailer, you can make the return only to them, and then their return policy applies, and not Adidas’.

In-store you can return both items purchased online and in-store. If you do not have a receipt, you can provide the return label QR code, which you can get from your adiclub purchase history, or based on the order number from the online purchase confirmation email.

Returning Adidas products by mail

If you are returning by mail, as an adiclub member, you only need to log in to your account and find the items you wish to return and select the Return Items or Free Size Exchange option.

If you have bought as a guest user, you will need to enter your order number in the Order Tracker, where you will be able to select the Return Items or Free Size Exchange option.

In both of these cases, the procedure will give you instructions for printing the return label, which you need to attach to your package.

Adidas product free size exchange

In case your product doesn’t fit you, which is not an uncommon mistake to make when buying stuff online, you could be eligible for the Free Size Exchange. If it is a personalized item, it can’t be exchanged.

What you need to do is follow the procedure for making returns by mail, and so create an exchange order. This you can do only if the different size is available in stock.

After creating the order, you have 7 days to drop off or send the original item.

Adidas’ return policy limits

Whether you are making a return with or without a receipt, there are some time limits imposed on them.

All final sale items, such as Bad Bunny Puerto Rico products are not refundable, except in the case of manufacturing defects.

So-called “hype products”, such as Yeezy can be returned up to 7 days after purchase, GUCCI and BALENCIAGA branded products can be returned up to 14 days, while all other qualified Adidas products up to 30 days after purchase.

Adidas’ refund policy

Refunds for returned products are by default made to the payment method that was used for making the purchase. In the case of the pre-paid debit cards, because some are not available for reloading by Adidas, you will be offered alternative options.

If the purchase was made using gift cards, you will be issued a new one, with the refunded amount on the email which was used.

One thing to keep in mind is that the various holiday surcharges and shipping expenses are not refundable.

And when making a return without a receipt or other proof of purchase, you will be refunded the current price of the item in the form of an in-store credit.

Conclusion

The Adidas return policy without receipt is important to understand for the simple fact that receipts can get lost very easily. But two things are important to repeat.

If you have made a purchase online or you are an adiclub member, you can easily acquire proof of purchase and be eligible for the sum you have paid.

But otherwise, you could qualify for the in-store credit refund in the amount of the current price of those items.
