Most retailers understand there will be returns. Aritzia has a return policy that allows you 10 days to get a full refund if you have a receipt. You may not return items without a receipt or order invoice.

Should you want to return something after the 10 day window, you can make an exchange or a return for store credit up to 21 days. The tags still must be intact, and you must present the receipt.

What If I Don’t Have a Receipt?

Aritzia’s return policy states you must have your receipt to return an item. They do not accept returns without proof of purchase. 

If you cannot find your receipt or you threw it away thinking you wouldn’t need it again, you can try a couple of things to see if you can get a new one.

For customers with an online account set up with Aritzia, log into your account and see if you can find the invoice for the order you want to return and print a copy.

If you purchased your items in-store, you can visit the store to see if they can look up your receipt. The availability of this option may vary from location to location.

What Items Cannot Be Returned?

There are some items, due to their nature and use, that cannot be returned in-store or through the mail. 

Items that could pose a hygiene risk are not accepted for returns. These are things like face masks, undergarments, hosiery, and bodysuits.

Aritzia offers some personalized items, such as The Super Puff Personalized coat. Items that have been personalized for specific customers are not eligible for refunds.

Personalized items cannot be resold to anyone else. They’re customized for one person.

Sale and clearance items priced 50% or more off are not returnable. These items are marked as final sales. 

Where Can I Return Items To?

You can return items purchased from Aritzia in one location to a store in a different location, as long as they’re in the same country.

For instance, you can purchase a shirt from one Aritzia store in Canada and return it to another location in Canada. You cannot purchase in Canada and return in the United States.

Most items purchased online can be returned either online or in store. Exchanges of online orders should be processed in-store. The company encourages this to keep from having to ship items back and forth. 

Can I Return Items Through the Website?

Items ordered online can be returned through the website. You will start the return on the Order History page.

That’s where you’ll tell the company which items will be coming back so they know what to process.

Your original order will have come with a return label already printed. You can affix that to a box to ship your items back in. 

Aritzia uses various carriers to ship items, so make sure to take your package to the applicable carrier for mailing.

How Much Is Shipping for Mail Returns?

The shipping fee for a website return depends on how you checked out during your original order. You can check out as a guest or while logged in to your account. 

If you checked out through your Aritzia account, you will not have to pay a shipping fee to send any items back. Returns are free for online account holders.

When you check out as a guest on the website, you do have to pay a shipping fee to return items. There is a flat $8 fee, which is deducted from your refund once the return is processed.

So, it’s in your best interest to sign up for an online account if you plan to purchase items from Aritzia.

If you’re unable to locate the return label in your package or you misplace it, you can reach out to the Aritzia Concierge to request a new one. You’ll need to provide the return number, your phone number, and your address.

Returning Sale Items Less Than 50% Off

Aritzia holds sales from time to time when customers can get discounts of less than 50% off on special items. These sale garments are eligible for return. 

You still need to meet the conditions of the return policy. However, you will not be qualified to get a full refund of the purchase price to the original method of payment account. 

These sale items are returnable for store credit issued on a gift card.

How Long Does the Refund Take?

Aritzia is committed to processing returns within 7 to 10 business days from receipt of your package. Once they enter the item back into the inventory, the refund process is initiated.

Aritzia is only responsible for their end of the refund. Once they process their end, it is up to the financial institution holding the payment account to complete the refund.

The timeline from bank to bank may vary a bit.

Does Aritzia Resell Returned Items?

Aritzia resells returned items that are in brand new condition. The return policy states you must have the original tags attached to the items. You also cannot have washed the items, worn them, or ruined them in any way. 

The conditions of the policy allow Aritzia to resell most items returned to them. The only items they would not resell are those with manufacturer’s defects. 

Is There a Different Return Window for Items Ordered Through the Website?

Items ordered online take time to get delivered. For this reason, Aritzia allows for a slightly longer return window on website purchases.

You have 14 days from the original shipping date to get a full refund. If it’s within 30 days of that shipping date, you can get a refund in the form of an eGift card.

Aritzia will not accept website returns after the first 30 days from the shipping date.
